I bought a Kingston DT SE9 flash drive. Because I wasn’t able to find any relevant data on read/write speeds prior to making the purchase and given the price, I was expecting slow writes. And my expectations were correct – when copying large files, write speed averages at around 3 MiB/s. On the other hand read speeds are good enough – 17-18 MiB/s.
Conclusion: For little money you get well designed flash drive that is suited for write once, read multiple applications.
Write speed: 3 MiB/s
Read speed: 17-18 MiB/s
